Rishikesh in Uttrakhand, is a renowed pilgrimage destination in India. Several believe it as the land of gods. The most respectful river Ganga, majestic Himalayas, legends, myths, monks and temple make Rishikesh a soothing destination where the believer find peace of soul and mind. The fabulous nature is a major draw for the non- believer. Addition to that, there is plenty of scope for adventure sports.

Lakshman Jhula

This bridge running from one bank of Ganga to other is the landmark of the city. It was built in 1939. It is said that Lakshman crossed this bridge when it was of only jute ropes. You can also feed the fish in the river below from the bridge. Lakshman Jhula with the green mountains in the background make a perfect view. 

Kunjapuri Temple

Temple Kunjapuri soars 1645 meter high, 14km north of Rishikesh to commemorate Goddess Shakti and lord Shiva idols. Awaken ​one's spirituality with view of Himalayas peaks and spiritual surroundings at sunrise or sunset. The area offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks, Rishikesh, Haridwar and the Doon Valley. Thousands of tourists visit this temple especially during Navratras (April & October). Grand Celebrations are held during the Dussera festival.

Neergarh Water Fall

A visit to the waterfall starts 3 Km from the retreat on the south side of the river Ganga. We can also arrange nice picnic trips to this beautiful spot.


 

Vashisht Cave

About an hour's drive along the mountain road along the river Ganga is Vashisht Gufa. It is an ancient cave temple where Vashisht, the guru of Lord Rama meditated.

Rajaji National Park

In this nearby national park nature lovers can find over 800 square km of forested park with wildlife including wild tigers, elephant, chital deer, leopard and sloth deer, above 300 forms of birdlife & many forest types.
